Can cheek implants get dislodged and slide elsewhere?

Any type of implant can become dislodged, however, if the implant was placed properly, it is unusual without something like a significant trauma.  More frequently, implants can be placed incorrectly during the initial operation causing the implants to look “funny” or slide around.  Unless a very tight pocket is made for the implant, like a hand-in-glove, the implant can change positions in a loose pocket.
